BA (Hons) Ballet Education graduate's success in Lucozade's Keep Us Moving competition

As part of the Lucozade Sport #KeepUsMoving initiative, BA (Hons) Ballet Education graduate Lorian Kurzweil offered a live ballet class to their thirty thousand followers last week.

Lorian learned of the opportunity via a Member’s Update email from the RAD, spurring her to create a video at home and send it in to Lucozade as part of their competition. The ballet class was delivered via Instagram live as part of an initiative to provide great workouts that the nation can do from home to stay active. You can still catch Lorian's class in the video below.

Lorian explains: “I am hugely grateful to the RAD Marketing Team for highlighting the opportunity to get involved with Lucozade Sport! Moving and dancing are getting me through these difficult and surreal times. Teaching online has been both challenging and exciting, and a lovely way to reconnect with far away friends and classmates from my days studying at the RAD.”

A graduate of the Faculty of Education’s BA (Hons) in Ballet Education and a Licentiate of the RAD, Lorian commented “My teaching qualifications have always made me feel confident in my abilities, no matter the circumstances.”
