How to Apply

We are still accepting applications for the A Level Dance course starting in September 2020, please see further details below about applying. You should be aged 15+ and in Year 11 or above by the start of the course and hold five 9-4/A*-C grades at GCSE. Some dance experience is required.

How to Apply

The A Level Dance course runs on Saturdays at RAD HQ in Battersea during term time from 9.30am and 3.00pm*. For more details about the course, please refer to our information pack.

*Please note that the class times have been slightly amended from the Information and Application pack in order to keep in line with both the Government Covid-19 secure guidelines and the RAD’s updated Risk Assessments. Please see timings below:

8:00 – 9.45am – Online theory class, students to participate online from home

9:45 – 11:50am – Break to allow travel time to the RAD HQ building

11:50am – 2:50pm – Practical class onsite at RAD HQ

Please kindly note that the RAD will no longer be offering the AS Level in Dance. AQA are withdrawing the AS course after June 2021 and due to insufficient numbers registered for entry in September 2020, the RAD will not be offering the AS course in the 2020/2021 academic year.

If you would like to apply for the 2 year A Level course, you must complete and return this application pack. Please open the document with Adobe Reader to submit the forms. Alternatively, you can save the document and attach it to an email to submit your application.

Application forms will be reviewed by the Head of Dance Studies on a first come first served basis and there are only a few remaining spaces for September 2020 entry. Once the course is full to capacity a waiting list will be in operation.
