Beat the lockdown blues with our positive, energising online fitness classes, focusing on good physical and mental health. Keep fit, have fun, and try out a range of different dance styles, delivered directly to your home for FREE. 

Classes are open to everyone, no need to sign up- if you want to dance, you’re welcome to join us. Sessions were originally delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12.30pm and are now available on the RAD’s Youtube channel so you can take part anytime.

Ali Golding

Ali is a Choreographer, Movement Coach, Performance Facilitator and Dance Scientist. She has over thirty years of professional experience, with credits encompassing Feature Films, Drama and Musical Theatre, T.V, the Music Industry, Light Entertainment and high profile Trade/Award Shows. Ali has choreographed, taught and been a faculty member for many of the leading London dance and drama institutions including Mountview, Guildhall, London School of Musical Theatre and TrinityLaban.

Christopher Bean

Christopher has worked for Step Into Dance since 2009 initially teaching various hip hop styles such as krump and locking before training in Ghana in Pan-African traditional and Afrobeat dances as Assistant Manager in Semekor Performing Arts. He is the co-founder of WeMove in Tottenham, which promotes creative leadership in dance and access to performance training and opportunities for young people.

Jonathan Reid

Jonathan A.K.A Jutsu is one of the top Popping/Robotic freestylers and dance educators in the UK dance scene. He holds various competition titles and has set out to perform, choreograph and work within both the commercial industry and the underground scene. When he is not working in the industry Jutsu is teaching/mentoring though masterclasses. Jutsu has had access to many of the original pioneers of street dance, which has allowed him to share knowledge that is rare and exclusive to his students. His teaching style is all about sharing what he calls the “Three F’s”- FUN, FUNK AND FOUNDATION, helping students develop their dance skills for the industry and street dance culture.

Samantha Haynes

Sam is a Hip hop dance educator and performer with a BA and Masters in Dance. Sam has performed in the Opening Ceremony for London’s 2012 Olympic Games and for four consecutive years at Sadler’s Wells for Breakin’ Convention with The Locksmiths Dance Company. She has danced on Britain’s Got Talent and has performed in Italy, Malta, South Africa and St. Lucia. Currently she is touring with Cirque Bijou in their bespoke LED light-suit show. She teaches for The Royal Academy of Dance’s Step into Dance program as well as for university dance societies in London. She is co-founder of #makemefunky dance classes in London where she specialises in Popping, Locking and 1970’s funky social dances.
