Joel Morris (Ballet & Repertoire)
Joel was born on the Isle of Wight where he received his early training with Gillian Cartwright. He later trained at The Royal Ballet School, The Central School of Ballet, and The Royal Danish Ballet (Summer intensive on full scholarship). His 18-year career has seen him perform with London City Ballet, English National Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, The South African Ballet Theatre, and Cape Town City Ballet. He was also acompany member of KBallet in Japan for its first seasons. Joel danced in Cats in the West End (London Palladium), and on tour where he was lucky enough to perform the iconic role of Mr Mistoffelees and attend rehearsals with AndrewLloyd Webber and Dame Gillian Lynne.
His classical principal roles include Franz (Coppélia), Blue Bird and Carabosse (The Sleeping Beauty), Don Jose (Carmen), The Nutcracker Prince, Gamache (Don Quixote), and Jesters in Swan Lake and Cinderella. He has also performed in Balanchine’s Who Cares and Ashton’s Les Patineurs.
Emma Dodds (Creative)
Emma trained at The Hammond School enjoying a diverse dance education in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap and Spanish dance. Wishing to specialise in contemporary dance and develop herself as an artist and choreographer, she then went on to train at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance, graduating with a BA Hons Degree Dance Theatre. Emma has enjoyed a varied performing career from TV to theatre, ballet and independent projects. In 2017 Emma graduated from the RAD’s Professional Dancers’ Teaching Diploma, with Distinction. Since then, she has worked as an Associate Lecturer in Dance for the University of Surrey, as well as running her own youth dance projects and working as an RAD dance teacher in her local region. Emma now works on the teaching faculty at Ballet Theatre UK teaching contemporary dance technique, choreography and Pilates.
Kevin Young (Street Jazz)
Originally from Glasgow, Kevin graduated from London Studio Centre in 2010 with a BA Honours Degree. Kevin has been fortunate to travel the world working with artists such as Plan B, Cheryl Cole, Diana Vickers, Marcus Collins, Florence and the Machine and Sophie Ellis Bexter. He has also danced on X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, The Brit Awards, Dancing On Ice, So You Think You Can Dance, Got To Dance, All Star Mr & Mrs, Louie Spence’s Showbusiness and The Justin Lee Collins Show. Additionally, Kevin has choreographed many TV adverts, shows, flashmobs, tours and music videos worldwide. Kevin currently teaches at dance colleges, companies and schools all over the UK as well as schools in London through the RAD community outreach programme Step into Dance.
