RAD Summer School Teachers Course

We are excited to present this varied and stimulating programme for teachers at Summer School 2025.

Aligned to one of the RAD core values – Champions of Wellbeing – the course aims to:

• Explore how wellbeing is fundamental to the teaching of dance.
• Encourage best practices in teaching the steps and vocabulary of dance.
• Provide practical experience in teaching vocational-level students.
• Enhance knowledge in supporting students to achieve their personal best in exams.
• Provide education to prevent injury and maximise performance.
• Challenge ideas about how dancers think about their bodies.
• Provide an opportunity for teachers to increase engagement and enhance the overall effectiveness of their websites and social media channels.
