Centenary Masterclasses: Focus on Artistry and Technique
Improve and enhance your technique and performance. This programme for young dancers gives you expert dance coaching through a series of four masterclasses.
Attending will give you:
- a clear understanding of the required technique,
- a focus on the musicality and the performance qualities of this expressive art form,
- the knowledge and experience of the professional faculty, and
- the experience of dancing to live music in all classes.
Classes complement RAD syllabus training, so you can continue your dance studies with your current dance teacher.

Students can register to attend if they are studying RAD Grade 2 – Intermediate, or the equivalent Grade.
- Junior: Grades 2 & 3
- Intermediate: Grades 4 & 5 and Intermediate Foundation
- Senior: Grades 6, 7 & 8 and Intermediate
No audition is required.
- Juniors: 10.30-11.45
- Intermediate: 12.30-14.00
- Seniors: 14.15-16.00
How to apply:
Entry to each class is limited. Early booking is recommended.
Please ensure you check the ticket details carefully. If the ticket you wish to book appears sold out, please apply online for the ‘Waiting List’ ticket, specifying the group/time slot you wish to attend. The Student Activities Team will contact you should a suitable place become available.
