Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies Information Session

Join this information session to find out everything you need to know about the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies.

The Royal Academy of Dance’s part-time Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) programme allows you to take your first step to becoming an RAD Registered Teacher. The CBTS provides you with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to embark on a career as a ballet teacher. With a focus on RAD syllabi, you will explore the development and progression of ballet technique alongside acquiring teaching skills appropriate for a private dance school. Run through a number of teaching centres throughout the world, it is sometimes possible for students to study at a centre in another country.

Lauren Showler, CBTS Programme Manager, will talk in-depth about the programme’s content, the entry requirements and application process. We will also be joined by a student of the CBTS who will share their experience on the programme.

We are delighted to announce that we are able to offer a number of Headley Trust Bursaries for CBTS students from the UK, which cover full and part scholarship. More information on how to apply for these bursaries will be given during the Information Session.
