Dance for All (Salford, UK and Online)

At the RAD, we are passionate about bringing dance to everyone and showing how it can have a positive impact on health and wellbeing. The Dance for All programme, taking place from 28–30 July at the University of Salford and online, includes professional development activities focusing on broadening your knowledge and skills to bring dance to a diverse range of communities.

The University of Salford is located a short drive from Manchester Airport, and a short train journey from major train stations in Manchester city centre. Parking is also available on-site. Refreshments will be provided for in-person sessions allowing for networking opportunities with fellow teachers.

In-person and online activities are available. If you can’t join us in-person in Manchester, we hope to see you at one of our virtual sessions.

Topics include:

  • Adapting repertoire for older learners
  • Makaton for dancers
  • The impact dance has on people with Parkinson’s
  • An introduction to seated dancing
