26 July 2024 - 28 July 2024
Dance teaching for a changing landscape (London, UK and online)
The past few years have made us all reflect and make changes to our businesses and teaching practices so that we can ensure we continue to spread the art of dance to our communities. It is worth considering how your teaching practice has changed, and what skills you need to continue to improve your teaching and your business.
This July, we will focus on a wide range of topics to allow you to grow and improve your teaching practice.
Topics include:
- Advanced Foundation (Female) syllabus
- Boys in dance: Negotiating adolescence
- Character
- Dance science
- Introduction to Benesh Movement Notation
- Silver Swans® for new and existing Licensees
- Teaching dance to people with dementia
Refreshments and lunch will be provided for in-person sessions, allowing for networking opportunities with fellow teachers.
In-person and online activities are available. If you can’t join us in-person in London, we hope to see you at one of our virtual sessions.
