GCSE Dance Open Day

The RAD will be holding an in-person GCSE Dance Course Open Day and workshop for prospective students and their parents at our new headquarters.

The GCSE open day offers prospective students the chance to get a feel for what it is like to attend the course at the Royal Academy of Dance. You will meet and speak with course tutors, see our current students in rehearsal and have the opportunity to ask questions.

GCSE Dance Workshop for prospective students

We will also be holding a GCSE Dance Workshop following the open day providing prospective students with the opportunity to take part in a contemporary dance workshop. Attendance to this workshop can be used instead of filming the practical element of the GCSE application.

Information about the course

GCSE classes are held on Saturdays at RAD HQ in Battersea, London during term time, enabling students to take the course as an extra qualification or to give them the option to study a subject that their school may not offer. Students receive first-rate teaching with consistently excellent results, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to enable them to progress to further dance studies. Students attending the RAD benefit from its strong links with the professional dance industry and other academic institutions.
