Enjoy the performances of exceptional young dancers from around the world, as part of the audience for the annual Bedells Bursary presentation on Sunday 29 October 2023.

A high point of the year at the RAD, the Bedells Bursary showcases young dancers’ excellence in artistic and technical achievement and provides them with an opportunity to really show their creativity.

You’ll watch an on-stage class at Advanced 1 level, followed by a performance of two contrasting solos by each dancer –  a classical variation from selected repertoire, and their ‘Dancer’s Own’ choreography.

Candidates for the bursary are required to have passed their RAD Advanced 1 exam, with Distinction. Among the previous winners is Anna-Rose O’Sullivan, Principal with The Royal Ballet.

The judges on the day will be Ashley Shaw and Ibrahim Onal.
