Be inspired in a fun weekend of movement designed specifically for male identifying students aged 8–18.

Boys Only! is a creative high-energy, two-day workshop designed to build your coordination, strength and alignment, and is led by experienced male teachers. Bring a friend and enjoy energetic contemporary/creative dance combined with athletic ballet and upbeat Street Jazz sessions. Ballet and creative classes feature live musical accompaniment.

The weekend finishes with a presentation for parents and guardians, and a Q&A with your teachers.

Who can attend?

Male identifying aged 8-18 years, suitable for beginners and those with some dance experience in any style.


10am – 5pm each day (approximately).

A full timetable will be sent to attendees following the closing date. Attendees are required to bring a packed lunch each day.

Boys Only! courses are subsidised by the Boys Only! Fund which was established to provide opportunities for male students to access dance.  The RAD also has bursaries available through the Project B Student Activities Bursary Scheme, please visit the website for more information.


Please ensure you check the ticket details carefully. If the ticket you wish to book appears sold out, please apply online for the Waiting List Ticket, specifying which time slot you wish to attend. The Student Activities Team will contact you should a suitable place become available.
