Borrowing books

Borrowing books
All permanent RAD headquarters staff and UK-based students enrolled on one of the Faculty of Education’s portfolio of programmes are entitled to register for borrowing books from the library’s circulating stock.

GCSE, GCE AS and A2 students studying at RAD headquarters on Saturdays may also borrow books subject to payment of a returnable deposit.

For other users, a Library Subscription Scheme is available which costs just £40.00 per year (RAD Members & Friends receive a 10% discount) and allows up to four books to be borrowed from circulating stock at any one time.

Books may be reserved if not immediately available and loans may be renewed provided that the material is not required by another user. All loans are subject to recall and overdue fines are applicable. Read more about loan periods, renewals and overdue fines
