New RAD Dance School bursary scheme for Wandsworth residents

We are a global organisation, encouraging dance participation and excellence all around the world. Equally important to us, however, is our local community in Wandsworth where the RAD has been based since 1974.

Our new community engagement strategy will deliver programmes with local dance, arts and community partners to meet the needs of the diverse community of Wandsworth and throughout London.

Recognising the need to nurture talent local to home, a new bursary scheme is now offering financial support for students and applicants from our local community in Wandsworth to attend classes at the RAD Dance School in Battersea.

The RAD Dance School offers weekly dance classes are offered 6 days a weeks throughout the academic term to a wide range of students from ages 3 – 17, as well as adults. Classes are based on both RAD ballet syllabus and Grades and a range of dance and fitness activities, and are taught by highly qualified teachers.
