Ballerina in cinemas December 19

04 Oct 2016

The Royal Academy of Dance have teamed up with the film that will light up every young dancer’s Christmas: BALLERINA, in cinemas December 19!

Ballerina follows orphan, Felicie, who has one dream: to become a ballet dancer in Paris. With the help of her best friend Victor, Felicie will have to learn from her mistakes and fight like she never has before, but nothing is impossible when it comes to achieving one’s dreams…

In cinemas in the UK and Ireland on December 19, Ballerina is a Christmas treat that proves nothing is impossible when it comes to achieving one’s dreams.

BALLERINA-INSPIRED DANCE CLASSES

As part of our partnership, we have created a new dance class inspired by Ballerina and taught by RAD Registered Teachers dance classes around the country from mid-November through to January 2017. The classes are available for two age groups, 4 – 7 and 8 – 13 year-olds and explore the themes of friendship, and never giving up on your dreams, as inspired by Felicie and Victor in the film. See above for our interactive map showing teachers offering Ballerina dance classes around the UK.
