Dance Honours
The recently announced Queen's Birthday Honours list for 2018 recognises several well-deserving people from the world of dance.

Director of The Royal Ballet, Kevin O'Hare, is to receive a CBE for services to Dance, while Gary Avis, Ballet Master and a Principal Character Artist at The Royal Ballet will be made an MBE for services to dance and charity.

Veronica Jobbins, Head of Learning and Participation (Dance), at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance becomes an OBE for services to Young People, an choreographer Alpana Taylor receives the same honour for services to South Asian Dance.

RAD trustee and non-executive board member, Julia Bond, also receives an OBE for services to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
