RAD and University of Bath in partnership
The University of Bath will be the RAD's new validating partner for university degree programmes.

Beginning with the 2015/16 academic year, RAD students will benefit from the use of Bath's new £10.9 million Centre for the Arts, home to the Institute of Contemporary Interdisciplinary Arts (ICIA). This will offer classes, workshops, performances and exhibitions throughout the year and will be open to the University and local community.

Luke Rittner, CEO of the Royal Academy of Dance, commented: ‘We were attracted to the University of Bath not simply because it is a top ten university in the UK, but because of its impressive international standing with a strong reputation for research and teaching excellence and a long-standing commitment to the arts. There is a great deal of synergy in terms of our institutional values and our approach to teaching and learning.’

Students studying for the BA in Dance Education, BA in Ballet Education, Postgraduate Certificate in Education: Dance Teaching with QTS and the MA in Education: Dance Teaching will all benefit from the partnership.
