Watch excerpts from the Genée Final on Facebook Live!
We will be broadcasting highlights from the Genée Final live from Hong Kong on the Genée Facebook page, free of charge.

Log in to Facebook on Sunday 12 August from 7.25pm (Hong Kong time) to see candidates take to the stage at Hong Kong City Hall. There will be exclusive interviews with key members of the Genée team, and of course the medallist announcement!

Don’t forget to share your thoughts on this year’s competition using the hashtag #Genee2018.

Licensing restrictions mean that we are not able to live stream the whole Final, but we hope this will allow our members and followers all over the world to feel a part of the action in Hong Kong. We are continuing to think of ways in which we can make this prestigious event available to as many people as possible, wherever you are.

Schedule (subject to change)

  • Live stream starts at 7.25pm (Hong Kong time), and the first section will show start of the competition, welcome on stage by Luke Rittner and Finalists entering the stage
  • 1st Interval (8.05pm HK time): Exclusive interviews
  • 2nd Interval (9.10pm HK time): Exclusive interviews
  • Defilé, announcement and performances (9.45pm HK time), a chance to see Carlo Pacis’ choreography for the first time outside of Hong Kong City Hall.

Thank you promising to share the video of the events world wide. Most exciting news I have heard thus far in the Ballet world. Lots and lots of luck to the dedicated candidates, especially those from that great Ballet school in Scotland.
