Step into Dance Ambassadors

The Step into Dance Ambassador scheme provides talented and enthusiastic young people with the opportunity to learn new skills that will equip them to support a range of events, projects and performances throughout the academic year.

Ambassador Scheme 2021

We are pleased to confirm that the ambassador scheme will return in January 2021 after a period of suspension. The scheme will be open to a small group of new students from London and Essex aged 11-18 (25 for SEND) and there will also be the option for our 2020 Ambassadors to return to the programme. We will shortly be in touch with returning Ambassadors to confirm their next steps, and applications for new students will open December 2020.

“The training has improved my exposure to dance and I am now more open to learning about different dance styles.” Ambassador 2018

Step Into Dance is a Royal Academy of Dance programme in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation, an organisation that empowers young people and widens their opportunities through grant giving and achievement recognition.
