Aims
The aims of this course are to:
- develop an understanding of what to do in specific situations, and
- provide the necessary tools to help casualties in the community.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, you will be able to:
- describe the actions to take and what not to do if an individual is experiencing suicidal thoughts and displaying suicidal behaviours,
- identify when someone is having a panic attack,
- identify ways to support someone displaying suicidal thoughts or behaviours,
- list symptoms of psychosis, and
- define what is meant by flashbacks.
