Natasha Frid Finlay is the choreologist for The National Ballet of Canada. Bilingual in French and English, Ms. Finlay trained at the Royal Academy of Dance and Le Conservatoire de Paris, going on to work for iconic Montreal choreographer Marie Chouinard.
She has notated works for contemporary, First Nations, Classical Chinese, Bharatanatyam and urban choreographers, as well as Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal. She tutors for the Royal Academy of Dance’s Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies.
Ms. Finlay is twice a gold medalist and ARCT recipient in piano performance and pedagogy with the Royal Conservatory of Music. She is guest faculty at The Phil and Eli Taylor Performance Academy, training musicians to perform Baroque dances.
