Tim Arthur stands down from role as CEO of the Royal Academy of Dance
Today the Royal Academy of Dance announces that its Chief Executive, Tim Arthur, will stand down from his role of CEO at the end of this year.
It is a decision that has been incredibly difficult for Tim Arthur to take given his deep commitment to and vision for the RAD but is due to a need to prioritise family responsibilities that will be requiring his full attention.
RAD Chairman Stephen Moss CBE said: “We will all be sad to see Tim leave, and it goes without saying that the RAD is deeply indebted to Tim for his leadership of the RAD over the last three years. A huge amount of transformative work has been achieved, not least the development of the RAD’s new strategy which Tim has been instrumental in creating. Tim has brought on board an exceptional leadership team who will carry this vision forward with his replacement once appointed.”
Tim Arthur said: “It has been an honour and a privilege to work alongside a passionate and talented team at the RAD. I firmly believe in the direction we have set for the organisation which I am deeply disappointed not to be involved in implementing further. However, I know that the Board and the whole organisation will continue to drive the RAD towards our goals.”
The RAD will shortly be launching a process to find Tim Arthur’s replacement and to ensure a smooth transition.
