Join us for the thrilling final of The Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition, the Royal Academy of Dance annual celebration of excellence.
The Fonteyn represents the pinnacle of achievement for young people trained in the RAD ballet syllabus. The competition identifies talented young dancers and often launches them into professional careers.
This year’s final will be held at the iconic London Coliseum on Sunday 8 November 2026. Candidates will perform their chosen Frederick Ashton variation accompanied live by a pianist, as well as a newly choreographed solo of their own.
Dancers from The Royal Ballet will feature as special guest performers at the event. Marianna Tsembenhoi, First Artist with The Royal Ballet, will perform a stunning solo, while The Royal Ballet Principals Fumi Kaneko and Vadim Muntagirov will take to the stage to perform an exquisite pas de deux.
