Contact:
A one-day practical revision course focussing on the RAD Grade 6 syllabus, with an emphasis on recapping the set exercises and dances. The course will ensure that syllabus details are being accurately understood, with brief references to the examination marking criteria and running of the examination day.
The aims of this course are:
- To revise the Grade 6 syllabus in its entirety, through explanation and physical participation,
- To improve participants’ understanding of syllabus expectations and accuracy of the settings,
- To clarify specific technical requirements for the Character and Free Movement work,
- To be able to link the technical details covered in the syllabus to the content of the dances, and
- To improve understanding of the logistical running of the examination.
Recommended Preparation:
A prior knowledge of the RAD Grade 6 syllabus.
Additional information:
Participants should ideally bring a character skirt, or similar full skirt, character or teaching shoes and a silk scarf.
