Become a supporter

Dance and movement are fundamental to our wellbeing. We empower people through dance education and enjoyment. While we may not all aspire to be professional dancers, dance can still give us great joy. As a registered dance charity, we depend upon the generous donations of our supporters to carry out this work. Please support dance and help us to bring it into diverse communities, inspiring the next generation of dance students and teachers.

How your donations support dance

The RAD has been inspiring future generations of dancers for over a century. We believe that dance has the power to change the world. It is more than just an art form – it is a force that can unite people from all walks of life.

Our mission is to promote the art of dance and ensure its development through diverse and inclusive dance education and training programmes across the world, nurturing creativity, innovation, artistry and excellence. We are incredibly grateful for the generous support of Trusts and Foundations, who support our mission and help us to increase our impact around the UK and the world.

RADiate provides subsidised dance classes to children on the autism spectrum, including children with moderate to severe and complex learning difficulties, and those who are non-verbal.

The largest inclusive dance programme in the UK, Step Into Dance reaches over six thousand secondary school students annually across London and Essex to offer regular dance classes.

The RAD Archive is an important record of the evolution of ballet and dance from the 20th century to today, containing over 100,000 items.
