Become a supporter
Dance and movement are fundamental to our wellbeing. We empower people through dance education and enjoyment. While we may not all aspire to be professional dancers, dance can still give us great joy. As a registered dance charity, we depend upon the generous donations of our supporters to carry out this work. Please support dance and help us to bring it into diverse communities, inspiring the next generation of dance students and teachers.

How you can leave a legacy and help support dance

At the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), we have been teaching the world to dance for over one hundred years. Every day, all around the world, people learn to dance with us and experience the joy and inspiration that dance brings into their lives.
Our work takes us into diverse communities everywhere, offering opportunities to dance and sharing the benefits and wellbeing that come with it. We empower people through dance education and enjoyment at every stage of their lives and, as one of the most influential dance education and training organisations in the world, we are proud of our history and excited about our future.
A quarter of a million students also take our ballet exams every year in over 86 countries. Because of all this, RAD has a special place, and makes a real positive difference, in so many people’s lives.
If you’d like to help ensure that the RAD can continue to shape the future of dance, we’d very much like you to consider leaving a gift to us in your will. Of course, you need to look after your loved ones first, but anything you can give will support our work around the world, both in the studio and in the community.
We are truly grateful for every act of generosity. Your gift today will ensure that future generations of people, young and old, can experience the joys of dance.
“Leaving a legacy to the Royal Academy of Dance would mean so much and have a real, lasting impact. Our work takes the benefits and joys of dance into diverse communities to materially affect lives and wellbeing, and your generosity will allow us to reach so many more people.”
Dame Darcey Bussell, President of the Royal Academy of Dance
