Grade 7 Refresher

The aims of this course are: 

• To review the Grade 7 syllabus in its entirety, through explanation and physical participation, 

• To improve participants’ understanding of syllabus expectations and accuracy of the settings, 
• To clarify specific technical requirements for the Character and Free Movement work, 
• To be able to link the technical details covered in the syllabus to the content of the dances, and 
• To improve understanding of the logistical running of the examination. 

Learning Outcomes: 

On completion of the course you will: 

• Have an increased understanding and knowledge of the content of the Grade 7 syllabus, 
• CDT Be more assured of the required technique for the set work, including Character and Free Movement, 
• Be able to recall settings with more accuracy, 
• Have gained understanding of how the required syllabus technique links with the dances, and 
• Have increased understanding of the running of the examination with reference to partner work, uniform and structure Event paragraph here…

Recommended Preparation: 

A prior knowledge of the RAD Grade 7 syllabus. 

Additional information: 

Participants should ideally bring a character skirt, or similar full skirt, character or teaching shoes and a silk scarf (plus cloak for Male work, if needed).
