An inclusive contemporary dance syllabus
RAD Teachers have an opportunity to expand the dance styles they offer through the Rambert Grades progressive and inclusive contemporary syllabus.
Our collaboration with Rambert Grades brings together two world-leading dance education and training brands. We both share a passion for dance underpinned by excellence in teaching and a desire to widen access.
Created by two of the world’s leading contemporary dance organisations: Rambert School, and Rambert Company, Rambert Grades is an awarding organisation, with Ofqual accreditation.
Training courses cover 10 hours of Time-Valued CPD for RAD teachers.

Becoming a Rambert Grades member allows you to take training courses at an additional fee. Delivered online, these cover the syllabus across 4 levels and 11 qualifications (Creative Movers to Grade 8), and the newly introduced Storytellers Performance Pathway, available to members who have completed the Rambert Grades syllabus training.
RAD teachers can then offer this exciting contemporary dance syllabus, and enter students for online exams.
Contemporary dance training with a difference
The syllabus was developed by industry experts with solo material created by internationally renowned choreographers Hofesh Shechter OBE, Alesandra Seutin, and Benoit Swan Pouffer. Accessible to all ages, abilities and bodies, regardless of experience, Rambert Grades teachers are taught to promote a safe environment for students to develop lifelong skills.
