The benchmark for creative contemporary dance learning and practice, Rambert Grades is an exceptional and unique framework which is accessible for people from all backgrounds, working with the whole person and developing transferable skills.
Join Rambert Grades CEO Abigail Reeve and Rambert’s Head of Archive Daniel Albon in a discussion on the history of Rambert and the role it played in the early development of modern dance. Rambert is an internationally renowned dance company that, in conjunction with Rambert School, now offers a syllabus, Rambert Grades.
The session will begin with a multimedia presentation dating back to the foundation of Rambert company, its connection to both Graham and Cunningham, and its international tours, and bring us up to their current work, an award-winning adaptation of Peaky Blinders. The latter portion of the session will introduce Rambert Grades as a syllabus, take questions and excite people about the possibilities of joining the Toronto-based in-person session in April.
