About the speaker
Chris East
Chris is Co-founder and Safeguarding Consultant at Cornerstone Safeguarding, which he built alongside his wife, Leah. He brings over 18 years of pastoral and safeguarding experience across the education, sporting, arts, and charity sectors.
At Cornerstone, Chris delivers safeguarding consultancy, supervision, training, and Safeguarding Health Checks, a supportive and practical alternative to traditional audits. He is known for his calm, non-judgmental approach, helping organisations build confidence, clarity, and strong safeguarding cultures that genuinely support both staff and those in their care.
