This interactive webinar aims to empower you with a deeper understanding of yourself and others through the use of the DISC assessment (a behavioural profiling tool), enabling you to enhance your self-awareness, communication skills, and collaborative effectiveness within your teaching and professional environments.
The DISC assessment is a powerful tool designed to understand and improve human behaviour, communication, and interpersonal relationships. There are four personality traits in the model: (D)ominance, (I)nfluence, (S)teadiness and (C)onscientiousness. Rooted in extensive research and practical applications, DISC offers a straightforward and versatile framework for personal and professional development.
Aim
The aim of this activity is to empower participants with a deeper understanding of themselves and others, enabling them to enhance their self-awareness, communication skills, and collaborative effectiveness within their teaching and professional environments.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of the webinar, you will:
- DEVELOP a heightened sense of self-awareness by analysing your personal behavioural preferences, evaluating your strengths and limitations, and reflecting on your motivations,
- APPRECIATE others with different behavioural styles in order to improve working relations and communication strategies more effectively,
- NAVIGATE through challenging conversations better by understanding the strengths and limitations of others, allowing you to achieve greater effectiveness,
- CULTIVATE a common language to foster stronger collaboration and synergy to enhance cohesion towards shared objectives, and
- EQUIP and EMPOWER others by understanding their emotions, thoughts, and needs; to ultimately apply this knowledge in the context of teaching ballet, and working with students and colleagues.
