Executive Assistant to National Director – Darlinghurst, NSW
Permanent part time – 30 hours per week
The Executive Assistant will primarily support the National Director, providing confidential high level executive support to enable her to fulfil her role effectively. The position will manage a busy meeting schedule and inbox, arrange travel and be a responsive point of contact for national enquiries, RAD international offices and external stakeholders.
The position provides secretarial support for meetings, preparing and disseminate agendas, minutes and manages follow up actions as well as administrative assistance with governance, HR matters and with projects and events. The position includes occasional support to other senior management and general administrative support to ensure smooth operations of the RAD Sydney headquarters. Reporting directly to the National Director, the Executive Assistant engages closely with RAD Australia staff, Examiners, Tutors and RAD Members, as well as the industry more broadly.
The position would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role, able to manage duties professionally, whilst maintaining confidentiality and projecting a warm and friendly approach as the National Directors representative. The ideal candidate will be someone who gets things done, responds in good time and is able to work on their own initiative. Due to dispersed working locations across the national team, the person must be a self-starter, be adaptable and organised and able to work and communicate effectively in person and online.
