Thank you for your interest in RAD membership. You are just a few steps away from joining one of the world’s most influential dance education and training organizations, being added to our Register of Teachers, and connecting with a global community of like-minded people, all with a shared commitment to dance. Our membership year begins on September 1 and ends on August 31. You will receive your digital membership cards and teaching certificates via email once your application has been approved.

*We are currently accepting applications from dance teachers with a recognised dance teaching qualification. A joining fee of $192 applies, in addition to the membership fee.

    RAD Safeguarding Requirements

    As a dance teacher, you have duty of care toward the children and adults at risk who attend your classes or the premises in which you operate your business. It is your personal responsibility to ensure you meet the RAD safeguarding requirements as a professional member of the RAD; we will support you to meet these requirements.     Do you have any criminal convictions to declare?
    Do you have a current criminal record check (enhanced DBS or international equivalent) within the last three years OR are you making a commitment to obtain one within the next 12 months
    Do you agree to participate in annual safeguarding training as part of your annual CPD hours
