Continuing Professional Development

Teach with the RAD Continuing Professional Development

What is Continuing Professional Development?

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) allows you to develop your knowledge and skills as a dance teacher. We offer a variety of options from in-person workshops to live webinars to conferences, across a variety of topics including RAD syllabus, dance-based non-syllabus, and health and wellbeing, that allow you to engage, collaborate and learn from expert professionals and fellow teachers around the world. Our CPD sessions are open to members and non-members alike, and we welcome attendees from all around the globe to take part.

CPD with the RAD

Participating in CPD can improve your knowledge and skills, open up new career opportunities, and increase your confidence and professional credibility. We recognise that dance CPD is personal to you and your situation, so we let you tailor courses to suit your situation. Whether you want to develop more knowledge in injury risk reduction, keep up to date with the latest legislation, discuss teaching strategies with fellow teachers, or focus on developing your leadership and resilience skills, you can create your own dance CPD plan.
