More dance genres and wellness for all
While famous around the world for our dance teaching, we’re about so much more than just ballet. Whatever your age or ability, we have a dance class for you in a range of different genres and styles.
Take a look at the courses we offer to help you explore the world of dance. We have students from ages 3 to 95, dancing Hip Hop, to chair-based Silver Swans classes for those less mobile.
Inspire Awards
Our Inspire Awards is a Biennial event. The Awards are a part of our 14+ Dance Scholarship Foundation to promote the practice and understanding of dance throughout New Zealand.
Silver Swans

Tiaho
Tiaho provides subsidised and inclusive dance classes with specialised Dance Artists, for children with special learning needs in primary schools.
Rambert Grades
A great new opportunity for RAD members to expand their dance offering through this progressive and inclusive contemporary dance syllabus.
Project B
Project B is a range of initiatives that aim to widen access to dance for boys and to encourage them to take up ballet.
RAD@Home
As the home of dance, the RAD is here to support you when you can’t leave yours. RAD@Home provides a whole raft of content to help you make the most of dancing at home.
