The Royal Academy of Dance celebrates Let’s Dance 2025

On Sunday 2 March, Royal Academy of Dance opened its doors for a joyous day of dance in celebration of Let’s Dance 2025.
Let’s Dance is a national campaign to inspire everyone in the UK to embrace dance as a way to improve their health, connect with others, and have fun.
At Royal Academy of Dance’s headquarters in London, a range of dance classes for all ages and abilities took place. The event began with a welcome note from the creator of Let’s Dance and RAD’s Silver Swans ambassador Angela Rippon who was joined by her Strictly Come Dancing partner Kai Widdrington.
A day full to the brim with dance classes then followed, with morning sessions including a family dance class, which was attended by Strictly star Pasha Kovalev and his family, and a children’s hip-hop class. Afternoon dance sessions included a musical theatre class, Silver Swans and general ballet.
RAD teachers based across the UK also ran their own events in honour of Let’s Dance 2025, including tea and social dances and Silver Swans classes.
A celebration of dance in all its forms, Let’s Dance 2025 was a memorable event that amplified and showcased the benefits of dance.
