Our Certificate in Dance Teaching (Ballet) gives you the specialist skills and recognised qualification you need to begin your journey as a ballet teacher. Throughout the programme, which starts in January each year, you’ll develop the knowledge, understanding and practical tools to teach a wide range of learners across diverse dance environments.

With a blend of guided independent study, online learning and studio‑based teaching practice, you’ll build essential dance‑teaching skills and establish a strong foundation for lifelong professional growth. You’ll receive personalised one‑to‑one tuition and mentoring from our leading dance‑teaching experts, while also benefiting from collaborative learning with peers across our global student and teaching community.

On successful completion, you’ll be eligible to become a Registered Teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance.
