Looking back on the RAD Members’ Conference

At the end of July, we welcomed members and dance professionals from around the world to our headquarters in London for an inspiring week of learning, creativity and connection, as our Members’ Conference took place alongside the launch of our new Musical Theatre Introductory Training (CPD).

The week brought together our global dance community for a vibrant programme of online sessions, practical workshops, creative tasters and networking opportunities, celebrating the very best of the RAD.

Conference highlights included Alexander Campbell’s session, ‘Ballet and Beyond: The Road Ahead for the RAD’, the launch of the new Musical Theatre syllabus, expert-led sessions exploring dance science, neurodiversity and inclusive teaching, and practical workshops across ballet, jazz, character dance and musical theatre. Throughout the week, attendees also enjoyed inspiring performances, the AGM, a celebratory reception and the prestigious RAD Awards, recognising individuals who have made significant and sustained contributions to dance.

Thank you to everyone who attended, presented, performed and supported this landmark event. We look forward to welcoming our global community back for another inspiring celebration of our members in the future.
