I understand that the images taken at Summer School 2027 will be of public interest for the Royal Academy of Dance. I therefore give my consent for these to be transferred to the RAD’s archive after January 2028 and understand that the images could be used as archive material in the following ways: as historical illustrations in RAD publications (print and digital, including website and social media, and press coverage), in physical exhibitions or display, and for educational/historical research purposes.

Terms and Conditions

The RAD reserves the right to alter the advertised programme and faculty, as necessary.

All information provided on your application form is private and confidential; your personal details will not be shared without your full knowledge and the expressed permission from you or your parents/guardians.

Fees –
All fees include $50 non-refundable registration fee

Scholarships
A limited number of partial scholarships are available on all courses to students based on need – including for families with a community services card. To apply contact the National Director: info@rad.org.nz

To pay by credit/debit card, an invoice will be sent on registration that allows you to pay by credit/debit card online.
Please note: credit/debit card payments will incur a surcharge
A 50% deposit is required to secure your place. . Failure to pay may result in your place being forfeited.

Refund Policy
• A refund of 80% of the fee (excluding the registration fee) will be considered for cancellations on medical grounds and on receipt of a medical certificate up to 7 days prior to the course commencement.

• In limited situations on compassionate grounds, a refund of 80% of the fee (excluding the registration fee) will be considered for cancellations due to a family emergency up to 7 days prior to the course commencement. To apply, please contact the National Director: info@rad.org.nz

• There will be no refund for cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the course commencement.

Press and Publicity Consent
During Summer School, RAD staff may take photographs and video recordings. All photographs and video recordings will be the property of the RAD.

Photographs taken by Evan Li will be available for purchase at the end of Summer School and details will be made available at Summer School.
The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) does not allow photographs, video, audio (sound) recording or any other images of anyone to be taken without their consent, or consent of their parent/guardian.

By submitting the registration form, you will give the RAD your consent to be photographed/filmed by Evan Li and RAD staff during the Summer School. Photographs/videos may be used by the RAD for the following purposes, and we may share them with our partners or sponsors for the same purposes:
• As promotional material in RAD publications (print and digital)
• On the RAD website and social media channel
• To distribute to press and media outlets to use in their print/digital publications and on their social media channels, as requested.
• In news programmes/press publications for a story/article about Summer School

The RAD will only keep and use the photographs/videos for as long as is appropriate for business purposes (this means, for as long as we need to have access to the images/videos in order to operate as a company). In this instance this means for a period of two years from the end date of the course.

You are free to withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to info@rad.org.nz . You do not need to specify a reason why you are withdrawing consent as well. If you do decide to withdraw your consent at a later time any photographs/videos taken and uploaded will not be used in any future publications or on our websites but may continue to appear in publications (including hardcopy publications) already in circulation or in cache until cleared.
Rest assured that all information you have provided to the RAD is private and confidential; your personal details will not be shared without your full knowledge and your written consent.
