Replacement certificates

If a certificate, result form, medal or bar has been lost or damaged, a replacement may be available. Please ensure you follow the guidance below so your request is sent to the correct office.

Outside the UK

For exams taken outside the UK, all replacement requests must be made through your local RAD office, who will manage the request and payment locally. 

Certificates and result forms

• Before 2009: Certificates cannot be replaced, but an extract from the Register of Examinations may be available.
• From 2009 onwards: Replacement certificates and/or result forms may be issued.

Fees and payment details will be confirmed by your local RAD office.

Medals and bars

Replacement medals and bars may be available through your local RAD office. Please contact them directly for details.

Information required

For all replacement requests, please provide:

• Candidate’s full name
• Candidate ID number or date of birth
• Details of the item(s) required (certificate, result form, medal or bar)

United Kingdom

For exams taken in the UK, all replacement requests must be submitted directly to the RAD Results & Certificates team at UK Head Office.

Certificates and result forms

• Before 2009: Original certificates cannot be replaced. An extract from the Register of Examinations may be issued instead.
• From 2009 onwards: Replacement certificates and/or result forms are available.

Cost: £22 per replacement

No charge applies where a replacement is required due to an RAD error.

Medals and bars

Replacement medals and bars are available at £12 per item.
