Silver Swans: On Screen

To commemorate the International Day of Older Persons, and Silver Sunday, this Autumn, we are inviting filmed submissions from Silver Swans Licensees to spotlight their dancers.

Your performances, specifically created to be enjoyed on screen, will be part of our digital stage month. From Sunday 5 October – Sunday 2 November, we will highlight the global Silver Swans community, sharing your dancing across our online platforms.

Silver Swans Celebration in partnership with Dance Base

On Sunday 2 November, we will be holding a day of workshops for people aged 55+ in collaboration with Dance Base in Edinburgh, to coincide with the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival.

You can look forward to Exploring Repertoire, seated dance and Pilates, and enjoy an open rehearsal with Dance Base’s elder company, PRIME. To take place at Dance Base, 14-16 Grassmarket, Edinburgh EH1 2JU.

Next year

Get set for Autumn 2026 when we will host the third LIVE Silver Swans Celebration performance and a series of inspiring workshops at the Royal Academy of Dance global headquarters in London.
