We have sensory items that we provide to each group in a box within their own holding space. These items included fidget toys, colourful scarfs, floor spots (which you can use as part of your sharing if needed). Each group will be provided these items for their time at the event. Please feel free to bring your own sensory objects/toys/books if there are ones better suited for your group. If any items are not suitable for your students, please remove them from the box and give to a member of the SiD team.

If you arrive within your time slot, your group will have time within the space to ‘rehearse’ prior to the sharing. The Step into Dance team will be around during this time but we are happy for you/your practitioner to facilitate the rehearsal in a way that suits your group’s needs. For example, if you wish for them to get comfortable with the space and do not need ‘to run’ the piece then that is absolutely fine. Please note that if you arrive considerably late after your time slot, we cannot guarantee that your group will have time to rehearse their piece before the sharing.

As of July 2025, parking regulations have been introduced on the RAD site. Unfortunately vehicles are no longer able to park on the concourse outside the entrance to the RAD. Vehicles are now only able to drop off outside the RAD concourse for a maximum of 15 minutes. CCTV has been installed to monitor the perimeter of the sit for enforcement purposes. Penalty Charge Notices will be issued by post based on image captured through the CCTV around the perimeter of the site. The RAD team have created a parking guide identifying the different parking options near the RAD site. This guide will be sent once your group’s participation has been confirmed.
