Step Forward Registration

Step Forward is our exciting dance taster series, offered by the Royal Academy of Dance in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation.

This programme features taster sessions in Hip Hop, Jazz, or Contemporary dance. These workshops provide young people with the opportunity to explore dance, aiming to foster an inclusive environment where all students, especially those new to dance or feeling apprehensive, can thrive.

Key details:

This programme is for schools and youth clubs that are new to Step in to Dance and have not worked with us in the past 5 years.

Step Forward is aimed at beginner dancers but is also suitable for intermediate-level students. For the 3-hour workshop, we recommend splitting the workshop either side of the school lunch break or delivering the workshop as a part of a holiday activity camp. 

We recognise Youth Clubs work with after-school hours, we are happy to accommodate timings and work directly with you to deliver the best Step Forward workshop in your organisation. 

We are delivering the programme from now until 20th July 2026. Please only book during this time period.
