First Aid Workshop for Dance – Child Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, December

The Child Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CCPR) workshop is a half-day workshop that will focus on CPR skills and choking management skill for children. There will be a practical examination at the end of the workshop. Those who pass the practical examination will obtain the CCPR certificate with 3 years validity.

This workshop will be conducted at the Hong Kong Red Cross Headquarters.

Booking closes on Friday 1 November at HKT 9am.

Aims

This workshop mainly focuses on equipping participants with the CPR skills and choking management skill for children. Apart from theory, the course offers adequate practices. After the CCPR course, participants will receive a Child Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate with 3 years validity if they fulfil the certificates criteria.

Learning outcomes

On completion of workshop, you will gain the knowledge of Child Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation:

• Anatomy and physiology of heart and lung
• Knowledge and skills of child CPR
• Introduction of heart diseases and prevention
• Knowledge and skills of child choking management
