First Aid Workshop for Dance – Child Elementary First Aid

This half-day workshop focuses on the first aid management and prevention of children accidents. The Child Elementary First Aid (CEFA) is offered by Hong Kong Red Cross. This workshop mainly focuses on the first aid management and prevention of children accidents. Candidates should have 100% attendance in order to get the Child Elementary First Aid Attendance Certificate.

Booking closes on Monday 2 December at HKT 9am.

Aims

The workshop aims to give participants a good knowledge of first aid care for injuries and incidents that can happen in the dance studio. The focus will include fractures, muscle injuries, strains and sprains and other medical problems.

• Principle of First Aid
• Bleeding and Wounds
• Shock and Fainting
• Suffocation and Choking
• Unconsciousness
• Febrile Convulsion (Seizures in Children)
• Skeletal Injuries
• Burns and Scalds
• Heat Stroke
• Simple Bleeding Bandaging
