Battle: Break-It-Down

We’re excited to announce our re-imagined Battle: Break-It-Down event for 2025!

This new event will focus on learning about the culture of Hip-Hop and how this informed battling. Dancers will learn the foundations during multiple workshops that come under the umbrella of Hip-Hop dance (i.e Breaking, House, Krumping, Locking, Waacking etc), hear from professionals in our industry talks and have freestyling opportunities.

There will also be a live DJ, an exhibition and a Battle demonstration that will break down the formats of traditional 1v1, 2v2 and Crew Battles. More information about the event to be announced.

Battle: Break-It-Down will take place on the 1st February 2025 at the Royal Academy of Dance HQ.
