Aims
The aims of this course are to:
- provide you with the knowledge required to ensure that children and young people are kept safe during arts and entertainment productions, and
- enhance your understanding of the current UK legislation and regulations relating to children working in arts, entertainment and similar settings.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, you will:
- understand how the law in each of the UK nations underpins your responsibilities,
- understand how to recognise possible areas of concern,
- know how to respond to these concerns in the appropriate way,
- understand how to report any child protection concerns to those that are responsible for taking action, and
- understand how to make a record of what you have seen and heard.
