Justine Berry has enjoyed 20 years as a dancer and deeply appreciates having found another vocation that she loves as passionately as that of a performer.

A graduate of the Professional Dancers’ Teaching Diploma (PDTD) and Master of Teaching (Dance), since graduation, she has represented the RAD in a variety of roles. From international summer schools, workshops, intensive syllabus courses to CPD tutor, a lecturer in Dance Education with the Faculty of Education, she has come full circle in becoming programme manager for the PDTD.

Justine also has extensive tutoring experience with vocational schools and is currently Subject Lead, Ballet and Contemporary, at Bird College, which encompasses her love of Musical Theatre. She has a deep respect for Benesh Movement Notation, having taught for the RAD and at The Royal Ballet School. 

Justine’s passions are teacher training and education, music, and character. She is involved in these for both the RAD and the Royal Ballet School. She delivers the RBS Inspire Seminars and assesses the Diploma in Dance Teaching. She has taught character at The Royal Ballet School for three years.
