SYNC Audition Registration Form 26/27
We are delighted to announce that we are looking for dedicated dancers to join our Step Youth Dance Company: SYꞤC from September 2026. SYNC meets every Sunday during term time at Royal Academy of Dance headquarters in Battersea, and takes part in additional performance opportunities throughout the year.
You must be aged between 11-18 years old and be situated in London or Essex to become a member of SYNC.
SYNC is a mixed dance style company and dancers will have the opportunity to build repertoire in a range of diverse genres, whilst building upon strength, technical skills and improving confidence, physical and mental health. The company aims to challenge your knowledge, experience, performance skills and perspective of dance and each session gives you an opportunity to learn, express yourself and spend time with other talented young dancers.
Auditions for SYNC will be held on Sunday 27th September 2026 at the Royal Academy of Dance, SW11 3JZ.
SYNC Audition Day:
- Registration on the day will be between 10:00-10:30am
- The day will conclude at 2:30pm
- Dancers will be expected to participate in practical workshops in Contemporary & Hip Hop
- Please wear dance appropriate clothing
- Please bring a refillable water bottle and a few snacks
There will also be a taster day for SYNC on Sunday 19th July 2026 at the Royal Academy of Dance, SW11 3JZ.
This is an opportunity for dancers to experience a SYNC session and decide whether they would like to audition for the company. However, dancers do not have to attend the taster day before auditioning, it is optional. This taster day will have the same schedule as the audition day (please see above).
To audition for SYNC and/or attend taster day, you must complete the application form below, and a member of the Step into Dance team will contact you with audition and taster day information and to confirm your attendance.
