TERMS AND CONDITIONS RAD Summer School January 2027
Courses available
• GRADES COURSE: 18 – 22 January 2027 for students 8-12 in RAD grades 3-5 or equivalent. Grades students must have sat the Grade 3 exam or equivalent or have at least 6 months experience of Grade 3 in 2026
• VOCATIONAL COURSE 18 – 23 January 2027 for students 11+ in RAD Intermediate Foundation – Advanced 2 or equivalent. Students sitting Grade 5 in 2026 are eligible.
• TEACHERS COURSE: 19 – 21 January 2027 (note Friday will be a half day)
Terms and Conditions
The RAD reserves the right to alter the advertised programme and faculty, as necessary.
All information provided on your application form is private and confidential; your personal details will not be shared without your full knowledge and the expressed permission from you or your parents/guardians.
Fees
All fees include $75 non-refundable registration fee. Please refer to the Summer School page on our website for a full table of fees.
Scholarships
A limited number of partial scholarships are available on all courses to students based on need – including for families with a community services card. To apply contact the National Director: bwilliams@rad.org.nz
Discounts
Sibling Discounts; Two sibling students: 10% off total cost of tuition fee and three or more sibling students 15% off the total cost of tuition fees. Please contact office@rad.org.nz to receive the discount. Discount will be applied to your second installment.
Group Discounts: A 10% discount will be applied to the tuition fee for groups of 5 or more students attending from the same Dance School. Please contact office@rad.org.nz to receive the discount. Discount will be applied to your second installment.
Teachers Group discount: A 20% discount will be applied to the tuition fee for teachers who bring 5 or more students to Summer School from their dance school. Discount will be applied to your second installment
Discounts cannot be combined, only one option is allowed per booking.

To pay by credit/debit card, an invoice will be sent on registration that allows you to pay by credit/debit card online.

Refund Policy
• A refund of 80% of the fee (excluding the registration fee) will be considered for cancellations on medical grounds and on receipt of a medical certificate up to 7 days prior to the course commencement.
• In limited situations on compassionate grounds, a refund of 80% of the fee (excluding the registration fee) will be considered for cancellations due to a family emergency up to 7 days prior to the course commencement. To apply, please contact the National Director: bwilliams@rad.org.nz
• A refund of 50% (excluding the registration fee) will be considered for cancellations on medical grounds and on receipt of a medical certificate that is received less than 7 days prior to the course commencement.
Health & Safety
Attendees must follow all directions provided by Royal Academy of Dance New Zealand staff and venue personnel and comply with venue health and safety requirements at all times.
Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a welcoming, respectful and inclusive environment for all attendees, performers, presenters, volunteers and staff. Behaviour that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory or disruptive will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.
Force Majeure
If an event is cancelled, postponed or significantly affected due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Royal Academy of Dance New Zealand, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, venue closures or other unforeseen events, Students will be advised as soon as practicable. Refunds or alternative arrangements may be offered at the discretion of the Royal Academy of Dance New Zealand.
Personal Property
The Royal Academy of Dance New Zealand and event venues accept no responsibility for loss, theft or damage of personal belongings while attending events.
