Initially qualifying as a Corporate Lawyer at Freshfields, Deborah Cornelius spent four years as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company and has been with luxury brand Burberry for 17 years. During this time she has held many different roles across strategic, operational and commercial functions within luxury fashion (including ready-to-wear, accessories, and childrenswear) and beauty (fragrance & makeup) categories.

In 2017 she became VP of Licensing with full responsibility for Burberry’s global licensing business (c. £40-45M royalties p.a.) including beauty with Coty, eyewear with Luxottica, and market analysis of future opportunities including homewares, food and beverages.

Deborah became an RAD Trustee in 2022.
